New Client Intake
50 minutes: $300
Evaluation
Testing typically takes 1.5 – 5 hours and may be split into multiple appointments depending on the scope of testing and the client. We have evening and weekend appointments available to allow you to schedule your testing at a time that is convenient for you.
Your financial responsibility will vary depending on whether you are using insurance and your specific insurance plan. We believe that comprehensive evaluations are essential to developing a data-driven plan of action for our clients. Our evaluations include tests that cannot be billed to insurance and, as such, every evaluation will have a self-pay cost.
Testing often costs between $800 - $3500. We can typically bill around half of the cost of testing to insurance.

with Rachel Briscoe, School Psychologist
Pursuant to the No Surprises Act, we will provide a good faith estimate of the expected charges for a psychological evaluation before the service is provided. This information will be provided both orally and in writing. You have the right to initiate a patient-provider dispute resolution process if the actual billed charges substantially (e.g., at least $400 more) exceed the expected charges included in the good faith estimate. To initiate the dispute resolution process, please contact the psychologist who completed your evaluation.
Estimates & Emergencies
Good Faith Estimate
The initiation of a patient-provider dispute resolution process will not adversely affect the quality of health care services furnished to the patient. The good faith estimate you will receive is not a contract and does not require you to obtain the items or services detailed in it. In rare instances, there may be additional services the psychologist recommends that must be scheduled separately and are not reflected in your good faith estimate. Such services will be discussed with you in advance.
Emergencies
Medical or Life-Threatening Emergencies
Bloom Psychology Services, LLC is a private practice and is not designed as a crisis unit. In the event that you are in crisis, DIAL 911 or go directly to the nearest emergency room.
Psychiatric Urgent Matters
Contact our office during normal business hours. If you need immediate care, please contact the Community North Behavioral Health Pavilion at 317-621-5100 or St. Vincent Stress Center at 317-338-4800. The crisis unit staff will provide a clinical assessment and make a recommendation for inpatient admission or other intensive treatment if necessary.
Due to the increased complexity of health insurance in recent years, you are highly encouraged to call your insurance company prior to your initial appointment to fully clarify all important issues related to fees and financial responsibilities. We do not accept insurance for therapy, medication management, autism services, or tutoring.
